TSAVO EAST SAFARI 2 DAYS/1 NIGHT

DAY 1
 
H 6.30 Departure from Malindi with Land Cruiser off-road vehicle to Tsavo East (2 hours).
 
For the first 60 km you will cross the indigenous villages of the Giriama tribe, very interesting and picturesque especially for those who see them for the first time. Leaving the villages behind you will begin to spot antelopes, baboons, hyenas, eagles and hawks and after a short stop with coffee and biscuits you will go in search of elephants, zebras, giraffes etc. near the Galana River until you reach the tented camp where you will spend the night. Assignment of rooms and lunch at the tented camp with a splendid view of the river where the luckiest will be able to see the elephants drinking.
 
 
 

RELAX

 

H 15.30 departure for Tsavo East National Park; after completing the formalities for entry, the afternoon safari will begin in search of the big cats, very numerous in Tsavo together with the elephants.

 

Wonderful scenery with doum palms on the banks of the river and animals that in the late afternoon go there in search of a bit of refreshment. At 18.30 by law it is mandatory to leave the National Park; once outside you will make a short stop waiting for the evening to fall to be able to leave for the night safari, in search of animals such as the leopard, the jackal, the hyenas and of course all the others.

 

At the end you will go to the tented camp where an aperitif will be organized around the fire and there will be time for a hot shower before dinner. Overnight stay at the camp in raised tents with private bathrooms.

2nd DAY

 

5.00 am wake up, 5.30 am breakfast and at 6.00 am departure to see the sunrise and return to the interior of Tsavo East for another immersion in nature and the savannah until lunch time. Return to the tented camp for lunch. After a short break to rest, departure for Malindi and return before evening
